Separate a lost key from an entry problem
Which door has stopped responding?
For the 2024 Venza, Toyota describes Smart Key operation at all four doors and the rear liftgate on XLE and Limited grades. That equipment detail is year- and trim-specific. Tell us if one handle is affected or if every entry point has stopped responding.
Compare the remote and the start function
If a remaining fob can still unlock the Venza and allow it to start, mention that when booking. If no remote remains, say that instead. These are different service requests, even when both begin with a locked door.
Choose the spare for your equipment
Have a photo of any remaining remote ready, along with the Venza’s year and trim. We check the part and functions before confirming a spare-key job. For a missing-key visit, provide the vehicle location and whether it can currently be opened.

Key questions
Should all Venza door handles respond to Smart Key?
Equipment varies. Toyota specifically describes four-door and rear-liftgate Smart Key operation for the 2024 XLE and Limited; we do not apply that specification to every Venza.
Does a working fob button rule out an entry fault?
No. Explain whether button entry, handle entry and starting each work. We use that description to assess the next step rather than promising that a new fob will solve it.
Can I ask for a spare while my Venza still starts?
Yes. Give us the year, trim and number of working remotes so we can check the correct part and service availability.
