Nissan Murano key replacement in Jacksonville.
If your Murano doors unlock but the power liftgate will not move, tell us both. That symptom needs a different check from a missing Intelligent Key or a car that will not start.

Murano liftgate trouble or a key problem?
A liftgate fault does not prove the key has failed
Nissan’s 2023 Murano manual says the power liftgate, where equipped, requires Park and may not operate with low vehicle-battery voltage. Note whether it responds to the dashboard switch or only fails from the remote. That distinction helps avoid choosing a fob before the cause is checked.
Describe the warning on the dashboard
The manual distinguishes low key battery, incorrect key identity and key-system faults. Give us the message as displayed, along with whether another remote starts the Murano. A replacement-key enquiry should not assume every warning is caused by a missing or defective fob.

If the remote is gone, say whether the mechanical blade or a spare remains. For a damaged remote, explain what happened and keep the pieces. We confirm compatible parts, programming availability and proof-of-ownership requirements before arranging service.

Key questions
Should I buy a Murano fob because the liftgate does not open?
Have the symptoms checked first. Tell us whether the vehicle starts and whether the other liftgate controls work. The 2023 guide lists operating conditions that can stop power-liftgate movement even when the key is present.
Is Key System Fault the same as Key Battery Low?
They are separate messages in Nissan’s 2023 manual. Report the exact text and any starting problem so the enquiry can be assessed correctly.
Does this page cover every Murano key generation?
It is one guide for Murano enquiries, with the 2023 manual used for the examples above. Give your actual year; we confirm the vehicle’s equipment and available service individually.
