The 2014 SLK manual gives the removable mechanical key a door and trunk access role. It distinguishes SmartKey remote operation from KEYLESS-GO where fitted, so a missing blade and an electronic-key failure should be described separately.

Tell us the SLK year, whether a SmartKey remains and which access or starting function fails. This guide covers eligible SLK vehicles through 2015; it does not extend service to the newer SLC name.

No. Our Mercedes-Benz key replacement and programming coverage ends with model year 2015. Give the model year before booking; 2016 and newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles are outside this service.
